Please introduce your company and give a brief about your role within the organization.
Frenchy Digital specializes in building scalable, and custom apps and E-commerces using agile development processes leveraging industry-accepted web technologies. My role as CEO is to constantly be on the lookout for strategic partnerships, new technologies, and direct the overall vision and long-term approach to Frenchy’s goals.
What is the story behind starting this company?
When we first started the company in France, there was a huge need for Agencies that can do more than one thing. At first, we were like a Swiss Army knife that could basically take on any type of Marketing or Development project you could throw at us. And today we continue to specialize more and more in the development of software and mobile technologies since more than 90% of users online surf the web or use apps on their phones. There’s a huge need for teams that can deliver quickly without having to resort to astronomical budgets or lengthy setups.
What are your company’s business model–in house team or third party vendors/ outsourcing?
We are proud to say 90% of all our work is done in-house all around the globe.
How does your company differentiate itself from the competition?
Most of our competition is very large older powerhouses with very little room to grow or experiment. We can compare them to Goliath, basically structures with a large set of rules and regulations that are set in stone and thus very difficult to pivot or change certain ways of doing things. Whereas for us, we are more like David who may be smaller in comparison to size, but are young, swift, can make decisions very quickly and pivot our strategies that use the Agile Methodology.
What industries do you generally cater to?
We cater to mostly the E-commerce, and Medical Industries.
Are your customers repetitive?
If yes, what ratio of clients has been repetitive to you?
100% of clients have either become repeat clients or have used our services in other aspects of their businesses.
Please share some of the services that you offer for which clients approach you the most for?
Most clients approach us for developing state-of-the-art mobile solutions or APPS that help their E-commerces touch base with their customers to offer more engaging and interactive experiences.
What is your customer satisfaction rate according to you? What steps do you take to cater to your customer’s needs and requirements?
Our customer Satisfaction rate is 100% and I say this because we are not satisfied with our work till the client gives us the thumbs up.
We take just 2 steps in making sure the client's needs and requirements are met.
The first step is constantly keeping a flow of communication through slack, email, or telephone. If a client needs a meeting we will always make time for them.
The second step is to profoundly go through testing TOGETHER, and the reason so is to make sure that we see all the changes/adjustments that are needed all at once even after we have done our own testing to just make sure for the 4th time that this APP or E-commerce is exactly what the clients want but most certainly needs.
What kind of support system do you offer to your clients for catering to their queries and issues?
As stated before we use multiple channels of communication with our clients like this they feel absolutely ‘listened to’. Slack is where most of the communication goes, Trello is where the project management happens and the client may have a bird’s eye view of what’s going on, and email is for validating our steps and processes going forward. Zoom & Telephone calls happen every other day to make sure that all issues are resolved in a timely manner if they arise.
What kind of payment structure do you follow to bill your clients? Is it Pay per Feature, Fixed Cost, Pay per Milestone (could be in phases, months, versions etc.)
Depending on our project, we usually construct a payment structure based on Milestones and development completeness in order to not only validate our progress but to continue to build a long-term relationship that’s built on delivering and not only trust.
Do you take in projects which meet your basic budget requirement?
If yes, what is the minimum requirement?
The minimum requirement for a basic E-commerce is 5k. And for a Mobile App, it would be around 25k.
What is the price range (min and max) of the projects that you catered to in 2020?
The minimum we have worked on for the year 2020 was around 5.3k and our largest was well over 7 figures.
Where do you see your company in the next 10 years?
We will be giving billions of users the best experiences to be had on mobile devices, be it in real life or Virtual Reality. Basically what we are doing today but times 10!
